Custom made chalices

Here are some of the chalices that were made recently. There is a large variety of symbols that can be used: Templar cross, Wicca pentacle, triple moon, and horned god. There are also several scrolls that can be applied. We have a variety of glaze colors to choose from; all of them are food safe. The chalices are hand thrown, underglazed and fired, then overglazed and fired a second time. The whole process from start to finish takes seven to eight weeks.

Not connected to the Chrysi Augi

Let it be known that the Ba Iset Order of the Rosy Cross (Evolving Order of Eclectic Ways/Ba Iset Order of the Golden Dawn) is in no way connected to the organization of the Greek political party known as  Chrysi Augi (which Greek name translated in English means "Golden Dawn").

Our Order has nothing in common with the Chrysi Augi which is a political organization with possible Neo-Nazi leanings.

The BIORC/EOEW/BIOGD is an organization devoted to the study of esoteric knowledge of the Western Mystery Tradition popularized by the lodge system started in 1888 by William Westcott and Samuel Mathers, an Order that is occasionally referred to by the name Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn (not to be confused with the two modern groups that currently hold the trademark of that name--which the BIORC also has no organizational link to).

Golden Dawn History 1998

January 1998, after a couple of months of organizing in the last part of 1997, the Evolving Order of Eclectic Ways opens up its doors in Denver, Colorado. On October 16, 2000, several members of this group will form Bast Temple (Golden Dawn in the Outer, Ruby Rose and Golden Cross in the Inner) which would become the Mother Lodge of the Ba Iset Order of the Golden Dawn/Ba Iset Order of the Rosy Cross. On June 29, 2013, the Ba Iset Order of the Rosy Cross would start to use the name of the Evolving Order of Eclectic Ways once again, in order to help avoid being confused with the Greek Neo-Nazi party: The People's Association--Golden Dawn (Λαϊκός Σύνδεσμος – Χρυσή Αυγή).

A performance of the LBRP

Here is a performance of the Lesser Ritual of the Pentagram, banishing version (LBRP), that I did recently as a test video for a possible series of videos for the lodge, Order and myself. I still need to figure out a better place to do this type of stuff in, given the amount of background noise that you cn hear.

Esoteric History 1875

Helena Blavatsky, along with W. Q. Judge and H. S. Olcott, form the Theosophical Society in New York.

H. P. Blavatsky writes many of her "most challenging articles" during this year for several Spiritualistic journals and New York newspapers.

Mary Baker Eddy publishes Science and Health.

Heinrich Schliemann publishes Troy and Its Remains.

May 31--Alphonse Louis Constant (Eliphas Levi) dies. Levi was 65.

June

H. P. Blavatsky moves away from Philadelphia. (Moves to New York City?)

Summer

H. P. Blavatsky starts writing Isis Unveiled.

"When I started to write that which developed later into Isis Unveiled, I had no more idea than the man in the moon what ould come of it. I had no plan; did not know whether it would be an essay, a pamphlet, a book, or an article. I knew that I had to write it, that was all."--H. P. Blavatsky

September 20th, H.P.B. mentions to N. A. Aksakov that she is working on a book called "Skeleton Key to Mysterious Gates." She says, "I'll show them up, your European and American men of science, Papists, Jesuits, and that race of half-learned, les chatres de la science, who destory everything without creating anything, and are incapable of creating."

Olcott wrote about Blavatsky's work, "If she had no plan, despite all her knowledge, does not that go to prove that the work was not of her own conception; that she was but the channel through which this tide fo fresh, vital essence was being poured into the stagnant poll of modern spritual thought?" [Obviously, this was a man who knew nothing about the working life of a writer.]

Olcott also wrote, "[Whence] did H. P. B. draw the materials which compose Isis, and which cannot be traced to accessible literary sources of quotation? From the Astral Light, and by her soul-senses, from her Teachers--the 'Brothers,' 'Adepts,' 'Sages,' 'Masters,' as they have been variously called."
